Larkin grew up in Hilo and is the 3rd generation of her family to live in Hawaii. Her father is a licensed general contractor and her mother is a teacher at a small private school.
After graduating from Hilo High School, Larkin moved to the mainland for 6 years and worked in the luxury retail industry. In 2005, she moved back to Hilo and worked as a receptionist in a local real estate office as well as an assistant to several top producing agents. This experience provided the groundwork for her to acquire her license in January 2007 and become a REALTOR.
Larkin met her husband in 2006 and they were married in 2013. They built their home on 2 acres and in her spare time she takes care of her 55 chickens, 2 sheep, 2 geese, 5 cats and a dog. Her favorite hobbies are sewing and quilting.
